Wild Mustangs/Secret Santa gift

Molly Winton

>The form is inspired by e's recent Pueblo postings. I just love this form. The mustangs are burned in. This spalted ash blank was given to me as part of my WC Secret Santa gift. Thanks Mike Rubes!! It is 6" diameter, and 3 1/4" tall, finished with Danish Oil. I'll buff it after the oil is dry.

>Molly,

I love it, but not nearly as much as my daughter does (standing over my shoulder drooling), she was even more impressed that a lady made it, quite an inspiration to her! she just started turning herself last month.

>Hi Molly,

Great piece! I just love your burned "creatures". This form is beautiful. I've never tried this form, but I can imagine that it's not easy to hollow.

Beautiful!

>Hi Molly,

Great stuff! I really like both of the ones you've posted. I'm really glad you were able to get something so wonderful out of that piece of ash. It's sure a lot better looking that what I've gotten out of it :)

All the great pieces with burning on them are very interesting to me.

Thanks for the pics,

Mike
