>I have been playing around with my new McNaughton bowl saver - fun! The purpose of the curved cutters is obvious but why do they include a straight knife?

>I use the straight tool often. Some of my blanks are oval when I get them round. I just slice them in half with the straight blade and I have two blanks to core with the curved blades. Sometimes I just slice off a couple inches and I have a large platter.
