>Thanks for all your information. The hogger I was refering to is a rectangular shaped, stand mounted, heavy blade, oops, chisel. It is machined and looks like the "chisels" they use on a metal lathe.
In response to where I live:
I live South of Dallas about 30 minutes.
I did manage to turn, what turned out to be a lamp or small table base. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will.
