I need help in San Antonio finding wood

Carl Cooksey

>My wife has to go to San Antonio for work and I wanted to know if there was a good place to get good turning blanks there. I'm looking for woods that are popular in Texas like mesquite. What are some other woods to look for?

Thanks for the help!

Carl

Above is on the SW side of Austin and has great stuff. His main stay are pen blanks but he also has larger exotic wood. Very nice fellow and he is known to throw in a handfull of misc for free. You need to call him and set a time and get his gate code to see them.

Good turning and be safe
