Beall System with a Polisher?

>I have a 7" Milwaukee Polisher.

Any reason that I can't use the Beall compounds with this tool?

I would use three different bonnets for the three different compounds.

They only downside that I see is that I'm pretty sure that the Beall system uses softer wheels as you get closer to the wax, which I cannot replicate with the bonnets....I can only get three identical wool bonnets.

Anyone foresee problems with this?

Thanks,

bg

>You can use the tripoli, white diamond and carnuba from any source, it's not necessary to use the Beale brand. Beale does use a different fabric in each of the three wheels, but the compounds are generic. I use the Beale system and I like it, but you should be able to get good results with your system. You didn't say anything about the RPM that your polisher uses, or if it variable, and that could be a factor. With the Beale system, you can vary the RPM with the lathe controls.
