>Made my photo booth Saturday per John Lucas' and other's posts in the past. It worked great. This is a trumpet yelper turkey call. The wood is black acacia with a brass ferrule and ivory mouthpiece.

Beautiful Turkey Call. I've never made one of those and admire people who do. I've called a few people Turkey's from the confines of my car but never hunted one.
It looks like you've got the photo booth thing down pretty well. I think the brightness on your lights is too even. I would somehow reduce the power of one of them. Either move it further away, angle it so it doesn't shine as directly or put some strips of aluminum foil or wire screen over the light. This will give you more shadow on one side and make the Turkey call look rounder. Shadow's are OK just not really dark ugly shadows like you get with a camera mounted flash.

I never called turkeys, when they see me they come to me. Some kind of affinity, I guess . . .

>Thanks John for the tip. I'll try that on the next one. I shipped this one off to its new owner this afternoon. Thanks for all of your tips and tricks. I've just been soaking it up and not posting much.
