>Before I did much research into chucks, I bought a Supernova chuck. This was years and numerous jaw puchases ago. I have one set of Oneway jaws, #4, and I was wondering if anyone has ever thought about taking the Nova jaws and modifying the corners so that they don't dig in as much? Any thoughts?

I too have a Super Nova and several jaw sets, my first chuck, and have been quite pleased with the jaws (as is). What would be the advantage of removinging the "corners"? Just curious.
Anyway, if you did modify the jaws I think you would have to grind them as they seem pretty hard and I think you would just have to try and keep the four jaws reasonably balanced.
