>As I do some upgrades on my lathe I am looking into using a VSM. I have a older Rockwell/Delta. Has anyone done such an upgrade? It has a step pulley so what do you use on the motor. And as for the motor I done some searching but I have not had much luck with websites. So any assitance would be great!

You may need a machinest - I've got a number for the best one in the business, that I know of(I don't know where you live, so this may be totally impractical) But it's Eddie Dingler in Newnan Georgia. Ping me offline if you want the phone number.

And Don Farr of DC Industrial, in Lithia Springs Georgia, can be gotten in touch with through his website: dcindustrial.com He deals in motors and VFD drives all day long, and he's good with them, so he might can help you out.
