Happy kids with pens -PIC-

Dave Smith, Longview, WA

>The Wednesday before Christmas I invited the children of a client in the neighborhood to visit my shop and make some presents. I heard them talking about what they could make for their parents while I was finishing a fireplace mantle in their home. The pens are suppose to be for their parents but I havent heard if they were actually given to them. Their sitter came along which helped me quite a lot. It took about 2 hours to make 3 pens which I thought was pretty good for 10 years old twins and a 12 years old boy. Evan did well on his own until it came to final shaping. The twins required a little more assistance.

Left to right. Streamline bigleaf maple, streamline apple, and slimline Corian.

It was a lot of fun and I expect they well ask to come back again.

I have never been called an Angel before.

>Hi Jennifer,

You don't remember meeting me? I believe you have me confused with someone else. I guess compared to Tommy I do look pretty good, eh.

Your comment put a big smile on my face. Thank you.
