>I had the pleasure of hosting an all day hands-on group in my shop with Andi Wolfe demonstrating. My what a first class person and artist she is, i have been fortunate to see some of the worlds best demonstrating their skills, but i gotta say she is the ultimate turner/artist that i have yet to see. I was so impressed by her skills i had to have a piece of her art, it came today and it will be proudly displayed in my home. If you ever get the chance to watch her perform her magic you will never meet a nicer person or see a finer demonstrator.

thank you Andi Wolfe,

>Bob,

You are absolutely right about Andi. I had the good fortune to host Andi at our house this spring for the night and a demo to our club. What a treat. Nice person, great artist, and informative, giving and personable demonstrator.

If any of you ever have the chance to see one of her demos, do it, even if you never intend to do her sort of work.

>Andi, it was a pleasure meeting you last saturday at the Long island woodturners meeting.i was the "newbie" without any grey ;)

it was my first time to the club(im brand new to turning) and if this is what their special-guest seminars are like,i'm Very glad i joined up that day! looking forward to january meeting, what a great bunch.

based on your demo,i got on ebay and bought a 54pc. set of the prismacolor markers you recommended, the prices were quite good i think compared to what was quoted that day, this set was $35total.though i did notice 1 complaint that 2 or 3 pens were dried out.

anyhow...

hope to see you again soon :)

Namaste~

>Matthew - nice score on the markers! I know you'll enjoy the programs for the Long Island Woodturners. Joel Rakower is the program director and he does a fine job of bringing in excellent demonstrators. I'll be back in New York in October 2005 for the Totally Turning symposium. See you then if not before. Andi
