>I'm considering purchasing a vacuum of some sort to act as a lathe dust collector at shows. Does anyone do this? What would be the quietest collector to use? Currently I'm looking at the Fein Turbo II.

I do not have that one myself, but from everything I have read, that is a great vacuum and probably the quietest one being made today.
I think that would be an excellent choice.
