>At Ray's Badger Pond fairwell get together in Indy: Someone brought a box of redish/brown rubber - self stick, that was given away to any takers. Bill I think it is the rubber that you used on your jam chuck in your DVD.

I love the stuff for Vacuum chucks and other situations.

Do you know who brought it, and/or if there is any more available?

Mark

I think Terry Quiram brought it. I need to contact him also, someone made off with my box, leaving me with just a few scraps.

>Hey Ray,

Didn't know you lurked around the turning board -though I have seen your name around the main message board. If you hear something, let me know, I would love to get some more - cost or no.

Thanks

Mark

>As I remember, somebody on the Pond shipped these scraps to whoever would take them. He stated that the landfill charged an arm and a leg to dispose of this stuff, and he could pay shipping cheaper. I think Terry got his box this way. I got my scraps the prior year at a Pond-O-Rama at Jen's house, and Terry was in attendance also so Ray's guess as to the source is probably right on. Wish the scraps would provide an 8" circle.

I got mine from Bill Grumbine

Dave Smith, Longview, WA

>Hi Mark,

Bill Grumbine had boxes of the stuff. I took some home after his 2002 picnic. I think Dave Anderson in New Hampsshire gave it to him. I may have that part wrong.

Big Bill is the guy you want to conntact for answers.

Dave Smith

Free is a very good price in Longview. WA.

>Ok all, I also would like to get some of this. It also sounds like it would be good for a seal on a vacuum vessel.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks Bill

>Mark,

I have not read the other responses, but at the 5 Barns gathering this year, Dave Anderson gave me a wad of red self sticking rubber.

I don't know if he was in Indi, but sounds like the same stuff.
