Santas workshop gets a cleaning

>Well I just removed over 200 gallons of turning noodles from the shop. I disposed of them properly (huge pile of compost in the woods). Wow that's from 20 cherry bowls. I think it might be time to invest in a coring system. Once I get my drill up and running I'll be finishing 20 cherry bowls lol..

Quite the work out carrying a 30 gallon can full of sawdust up the basment stairs 9 times....

>Sounds to me like it was just under 300 gallons! Woof, that is alot of shavings to be sure, but one the bright side I'd imagine the the little woodland critters are enjoying the benifits of your hobby. :~)

>Find your self someone who does pottery and uses wood chips to fire their pottery. They just may think you are doing them a big favor saving the chips for them and give you a piece of pottery.

>How many more bowls could you have turned with an easy-core coring system ? and less good wood wasted, and in a shorter time, not to think even about hauling all those shavings out of the basement. a good wish for Santa's wish list.
