My Daughter, Sarah, said that I should post these segmented bowl pictures. This is a "first time" for me. This bowl is about 5 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the top. It is made out of leftover scraps of walnut, sycamore, poplar and butternut. Sure beats meatloaf! Thanks to Kevin and his segmented wood turning website and to others who offered suggestions on other clamps to use next time. Hope these pictures show up...

While the pattern isn't immediately obvious, there is a definite symmetry that is revealed upon closer inspection -- a very handsome bowl !
