The top one is a piece of Stabilized Gold Maple Burl that Bill B sent me as a freebie with one of my last orders... gorgeous wood to work with... believe it or not my first time turning stabilized wood... but definately not my last... The other one is some spalted curly maple that I ordered with some other curly maple he had on sale....
I still have a fantastic piece of stabilized Honduras Mahogany and some stabilized Black Ash Burl he sent me... he really spoils us with the freebies we get when we order from him...
