La in end January

Dinyar Chavda

>I know it is early to post this, and I will probably post it again in early January, but

I will be in LA from the 24th to the 30th of January.

Are there any turning events going on at that time? While I will have family obligations that I will have to attend to, I should be able to juggle things and make some time for turning.

Also, what are some of the local woods that we don't have in the Philly area--I always seem to return from my trips with about 200 lbs of wood! :-)

Thanks for the info

Dinyar

>Dinyar

John Jordan lives in LA. Lower Antioch, TN. That's a joke for those who don't know. It's a suburb of Nashville.

>LA? Is that in the United States? I don't think they have trees there anymore. At least I don't see any in the movies.

>Call Steve Dunn. Good wood at good prices. His telephone numbers and e-mail address are in the AAW directory.

>Sure they do....very tall palm trees. Look like telephone poles with a fringe on top.
