>Typically I've used a CA finish on my pens. It turns out super glossy and I can't complain. However, recently I've been using the Beal buffing system on my bowls. Its amazing how it polishes the wood. Ok, here's my question. Does anyone just use the Beal or similar polishing system on their pen? I'm wonder about just polishing the wood and not putting on a CA finish.

I apply a coat or two of Russ Fairfield's witches brew (1/3 100% tung oil 1/3 turpentine 1/3 spar varnish) after it's dr I also use the Beale and same result, just like bowls.
