>To those who have asked, I am back to working on the video on finishing turned wood. I had hoped to have it completed before leaving for the 2-month trip, but that didn't happen. These things take time. My goal is late January, 2005.
A couple of you have seen the draft copy of Part-1, and I thank you for the comments.

I think this is one of the areas in need of work among the guild of turners. Thanks for bringing your overall expertise to this specific issue.

Great to hear you're almost done. The draft I saw of part one was fantastic, lots of great info. The topics you have planned for part two sound even better. There are no good finishing videos around to the best of my knowledge, and none of the books I've read cover finishing for woodturners to any degree at all. I can't wait to have the finished product.
