>Went on a local artisan's shop tour today and visited Bruce Hoover's turning studio. What beautiful work. He had one vase that looked to be about 24" tall and was turned paper thin. I don't know how you do something like that without it exploding! And that lathe....what a monster! Don't remember the model (OneWay) but it sure was big. Took up most of the room. I know to all you veteran turners this is probably old hat stuff, but it was exciting for me. I have so much to learn...I can't wait for my little midgit Jet and Bill's video to get here so I can start!
