OT: Anybody Ski or Snowboard?

Dave Winters, Steamboat Springs, CO

>Hey- I know there must be skiers and snowboarders out there. Let me know if you come to Colorado, maybe we can hook up for a few turns, and do some turning in the shop as well! Where do you ski/ride?

8" fresh powder here in Steamboat last nite!

>Hi Dave

We are back in AZ to be out of that. Is that you on the board. Looks like a real rush but I break something when I do those kind of things. If you come down to the warm country stop by and see us.

Good turning and be very very safe

>I ski a little but don't board (yet). Mostly I like XC skiing in the local woods and hills. I lived in Dillon, CO a few years back and that's where I learned Alpine skiing. Talk of snow in the Rockies brings back good memories! Shred a little champagne powder for me and have a great winter. Wish I could make it out your way.

Ahhh...Steamboat!

>Hi Dave,

Well I don't think I'll be out to Steamboat anytime soon, but I have spent some of my best skiing days at Steamboat! When I lived in Casper, WY we would drive down there for the weekends and just have a blast! Of all places I recall being at some little tiny bar on the outskirts of town hearing the best Reggae music I've ever heard! Those were some GREAT times! It was such a magical town and seemed like it was put there just for other people to come and enjoy. I can't believe people actually LIVE there year round. It must be heaven!

>I've skied Steamboat a few times. Beautiful place. Most recently my wife and I have been skiing at Wolf Creek in SW Colorado on our winter ski vacations. Never any lift lines and LOTS of snow to be had. That is if you can make it up the mountain during winter weather.

I don't know if we'll make it out this year or opt for Florida sun.
