Excellent crane lift, Al Crandall

Dave Smith, Longview, WA

>Hi Al,

I just read your tip in the Winter issue of AAW magazine on how to attach a small crane to a pickup without drilling into the truck bed. Another great design from the Al Crandall Useful Gadget Factory. If I made a third leg with a wheel to slip on the tung when I removed the crane I could wheel it into the garage. I could have used such a crane this summer when I was collecting large blocks of bigleaf maple.

Thanks for the great idea.

Dave Smith

If I only had room in my garage to park a crane in Longview, WA.

>You're exactly right Dave....Al is never short on those incredibly awseome gagets and doo-dads to improve our turning lives. I think he use to work on the TV series Mission Impossible.

>Just what I need! Of course, that will be only possible when I get a truck, which is in my immediate plans. I have been offered some logs, some of which are probably 4-400 lbs.

I found out I need a new chainsaw too. The one I have is only a 16".

Oh Christmas tree, oh ... Christmas tree ...
