Drill bit extensions

>I purchased a drill bit extension from local Hdw. to use on the inside of my bowl turnings. For some reason it bent. I think it is not of good quality. The brand was Vermont American. Is there a vendor for higher quality extensions? Thanks

>Hi Jack

What are you using the extension for, if you are using it to hold a hollowing tool I would suggest you get something else, the drill bit extensions are only good for that, making a longer drill.

Vermond makes good quality drills etc. maybe not the best but U have to use the tool for the job, I have a couple of those extensions and they do the extending job just fine, and yes I do keep the RPM's at the normal level.

Have fun and take care
