Who had those old corn cobs?

Bert Workman

>I forget who posted about the 30-40 year old corn cobs from a family members chicken coop and I'm too lazy to search. But if you have extras and want to do some trading I have some nice pieces of this and that that I would be happy to send in exchange of some of those cobs.

I tried turning a pen out of corn the other night and I'm hooked. I'd like to do a few more but don't want to wait for the cobs I have to dry.

Thanks,

Bert

Now I have heard, although I have not tried it, that you can buy dry corn cobs from pet and livestock feed suppliers. I am going to give it a try.

>Why not try Dave Smith's method of alcohol drying? Might work on corn cobs as well as wood. Then be sure and let the rest of know how it worked.(-:
