Retrofit for Triton Power Respirator *LINK*

Irwin @ GBWG

>Well Triton was true to their word. They have responded positively to customer feedback and redesigned the air hose and connectors for the Triton Power Respirator. The new retrofit kit arrived the other day and wow what a difference. The hose is flexible which makes the unit so much more comfortable to wear (no more helmet movement caused by the stiff hose). The new connectors and fitting are also great. The pressure-fit connection has been replaced by a half turn threaded fitting at both ends (so much easier to connect and disconnect).

It is really nice to see a company respond to favourably and quickly to customer feedback. Kudos to Triton!

FYI: If you are looking for a Triton respirator or retrofit kit, my personal experience with Galbraith Enterprises has been great. You can find a link on www.gbwg.ca (in the classified section).

>Irwin,

This is good news. The hose is the only area of the Triton that I noticed could use improvement.

Glad to hear help is on the way.

How much is the retro kit?

Thanks

Dennis

PS. Couldn't live without the Triton.

>I would be very appreciative if both of those who posted items re Triton face shield systems would respond on the size of the face & head covering. I recently tried to purchase a competing system (and less expensive) but found that the head covering was too small and would not adjust to my fat head.

I need a system of this type ASAP. Thanks, Phil

>Phil,

I also tried another helmut type and it wouldn't fit my big head (physical).

The Triton fits great what measurements would you like? I can give you my hat size and try to take a measurement of the Triton.

Thanks

Dennis
