Wally Dickerman in Woodturning Design

>I was in Highland Hardware yesterday, and saw the new Woodturning Design magazine. Mine has not arrived, so I only glanced at it, but I noticed an article on our very own Wally Dickerman in it.

Yea, Wally. Nice pictures of your work.

Any article by Wally is worth reading.

Dave Smith, Longview, WA

>Hi Mark,

I know you have seen Wally's work in person. For those who have not seen his turnings, pictures don't convey the true delicacy and the beauty of his work. Behind that impish grin stands a true giant in the turning world.

Dave Smith

A free turning lesson had no bearing on my remarks in Longview, WA.

>Actually this article is about Wally, not by Wally, but your comments still apply.

>I not only have had the good fortune to meet Wally and spend most of a day with him and his wife, and seen his work and his collection of works by other famous woodturners; I am lucky enough to have one of Wally's small hollow vessels. They are WONDERFUL.

>Mark, I too have a hollow form by Wally. I won the auction to rase money for Wood Central a while back. He also threw in a small bowl. Love them and show them off to all my turning friends.
