Baltimore turners club- Jan 17th, Towson Woodcraft

Mike Schwing from Md.

>Announcing the first/organizational meeting of the Baltimore Woodturners' Club (not set on the name just yet, for all I know there might already be one) on January 17th, 2005 at the Towson, Md. Woodcraft. The kind folks at Woodcraft have agreed to allow us the use of their facilities, lathes, etc.. for our club.

More detail as it becomes available. If you might be interested, please email me so I can be sure to send you information as the date and time approaches.

Close but no cigar

John Trant (Baltimore/DC area)

>Just my luck. I will now be surrounded by 3 local woodturning clubs (yours, Capital Area Woodturners, and the Chesapeake Woodturners) but none of which are closer than a 50 minute drive. I suppose I should count my blessings but I would rather complain.

Good luck with the organizational meeting!

So many clubs, so little time ...

John Trant (Baltimore/DC area)

>You are right, I forgot about the Fredrick club (an hour's drive). We need a club somewhere in the Savage-Laurel-Columbia area (simply to accomidate me!). ;^)

Time constraints restrict me to one meeting a month since CAW and CW are full day events. The good thing is that at least one of the 4 clubs should be presenting a "can't miss" demo each month.
