Another Death in the Woodworking Community?
Joe Herrmann
>I just read the post about the "Lumber Lady" passing away and I am sorry to hear that.
I recently heard that prolific woodworking author, Patrick Spielman, died suddenly, but I haven't seen anything in any newspaper to confirm the rumor. Has anyone heard anything concrete?

>Pat Spielman passed on last week. Someone posted an obituary on the main messageboard. Go there and search on "Spielman" within the past week to read the thread.
I had heard that Judith Mattart (the Lumberlady) was ill and trying to sell her business, but I didn't realize that she had passed on. That is too bad. She was a real treat.
What a sad day.
