>Found this log beside the road in my hometown, The City of Dogwoods. It is the largest dogwood I have turned 12 by 5. and finished with witches brew then buffed. Comments welcomed.

>Very nice!

There's been a lot of posting lately about dogwoods on a couple of other yahoo threads I read. It's strange how the ebb and flow of messages follow each other around here.

I've got some dogwood waiting on me right now and am going to see a man about a dogwood burl this evening. Maybe I'll be able to post a wood gloat tomorrow.

>Hi Glenn,

What a beauty! I've never seen a Dogwood tree that large in diameter here in my neighborhood...in fact I just looked out my window to see what the diameter of mine was and decided that at 5" it's not ready to hack down yet : )

This wood is beautiful!....and so is the graceful form. I love it.
