Hollow Apples pic

Ken DeMarco

>Hello All,

I made some hollowing tools mostly following Ellsworths video, as best as I could. and here are the second and third attempts, both in apple. the fist one is 6.5" tall and 3.5" wide the holey one is 3.5" tall. pretty scary at first, catches can be painfull but tons af fun now that I am starting to get the hang of it. (thanks to Dave Peebles for sharpening help and lots of pointers!!)

Thanks for looking

>Good job on keeping this one together. Fun,huh?

I love how hollows with voids are self emptying, but they can really throw some stuff around. Tip for when you do this and they get really flimsy - you can tape them up or wrap them in stretch platic.

Lookin' good Ken,

>Hi Ken,

I do believe you are on the right path. Of the two, I like this one the best. I also like it when the shavings are put into orbit... rather than having to blow them out. :)

Also, check your email.
