PSI chuck info

>I am looking to pick up an inexpensive chuck for my JET mini. Any recomendations? I think the PSI minigrip 3 looks like a good deal at $80 but is it a decent piece of equipment? And no I cannot afford a Talon or any other chuck over $100.

Thanks

>Brad,

I just ordered (haven't recieved it yet) the Nova Precision Midi chuck. It's the replacement for the compac, and has gotten some good feeback from others who's opinions I trust. They are available for about $100, and can use the standard Nova jaws and accessories.

>please post your thoughts when you get to use it, John. I'm in the market for one, but was waiting to hear Lyn's impressions before deciding if I want something more expensive/"fancy". The more input the better on these things.

Thanks!

>I saw one of Lyn's "first impressions" post of the chuck, and initially it looks good. I bought mine at Woodcraft. I think they had it for $119, and I had my 10% off birthday month gift certificate (just turned 40! Ack!)

As far as my review goes, I have about 90 minutes of total turning experience under my belt, so I'm not sure how helpful it will be. I will post something once I get it set up.
