>I just received a letter from del Mano gallery inviting me back for another "Small Treasures" exhibition. It was exciting to be invited the first time; even more the second time!

I'll post photos of the finished items before I send them out....now I must come with something to make!

>HI mike, thanks! I think this has been my FIRST weekend off since before Orlando. On top of my busy schedule, my son severely broke his leg (4.5 hours surgery, steel rods, etc.) helping a friend move.

I haven't turned a thing this fall, not counting 30 segmented bowls in class!

Totally Turning next weekend, then back to turning!

>Sorry to hear about your son, Keith. I hope is on the mend and doing well.

Also sorry to hear that you have not done much turning - except the classes - you seem to be a victim of your own success. ;)

When you posted that you had deja' vu about del Mano......I had vu jada' - the feeling that this had never happend to me before!! Congratulations, my friend.

>Hi Keith

Congratulations on the return to the gallery, and my sympathy for your son. That sounds painful! I have had broken bones and pins and such in my younger days as well. I also know what it is to do no turning except for teaching. I have a finished production job to deliver this morning, and then I am looking forward to spending a big chunk of the next few days turning some burls that have been sitting behind the lathe for months waiting for me to get to them.

>Thanks guys, I appreciate it! My son is doing better, he will be out of commission another 10 weeks or so. He was pinned between a moving truck and a set of concrete steps....it could have been MUCH worse, so we are thankful.
