Delta Model 1460

>I have the opportunity to buy a Delta model 1460 lathe from 1944. What should I be looking for in order to get a decent lathe. Its missing a tool rest bracket that attaches to the bed and a locking mechanism to keep the tail stock in place. Anyone have an idea on a starting price?
I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Its 2 hours away so I havent looked it over yet but will be doing that this afternoon or tomorrow.
Hopefully in the not to distant future I will discover that the world isnt flat but round...
