>I saw a tree half way taken down yesterday afternoon. I stopped by and the old man told me I could have it if I got it before "the yard man comes". So I got the pickup truck and the dull chainsaw. Today I'm sitting pretty with 21 cherry blanks cut up. I got six of them turned rough this evening.
Some of the sap wood is spalted, which gives things a pretty interesting effect. Maybe I should take the truck over and pick up the rest of the tree in the morning, it it's still there.
