this is a pic of my 3rd attempt at a natural edge bowl, having some problems keeping wall thickness uniform especially near the edges. but the big question now is what type of finnish to use and when to apply. Should I wait untill the bowl drys,

>Nice looking bowl. I suggest ASP you get a sanding sealer or a diluted lacquer to seal it around bark and all over. This will slow down drying and let you finish with a waterlox or urthene oil later. GT

On wall thickness; Are you having a problem where one side is thinner than the other or are you just incosistent top to bottom?
