Revisiting a grinder question
rprevett
>'Newbie' asked some sharpening/grinder questions yesterday, and one of them struck home. Unfortunately, that one did not get addressed, so I'll re-ask it:
'I bougth one of those diamond impregnated block on a stick things. It knocked the eccentricty out of the wheel alright, but left some pretty deep tracks in the wheels. Problem or not?'
Seems to be a problem for me. My gouge wants to fall into those tracks as I roll the tool in my jig (wolverine).
Do we use the dressing tool to grind those tracks away. How, without forming new ones?
TIA,
