Well here's another odity from my lathe. I'm not really sure what was going through my head, but this is the result.
It's a cherry hollow with a textured band and minutely carved collar. It's about 13" diameter and 6" high. I used India ink for the dye. Okay...so it resembles those things they fling down the ice in curling! The Canadians can relate : )
My appologies for the big pictures....I shrunk them down to 40k, but didn't realize the camera was on large format to begin with. Doh!
I am sure you could find a nice home for that up here, it would look great, better than most curling trophies that is for sure. Mine are all in boxes somewhere.
