Mesquite bowl / filling defects
Jay Sullivan
>Here is a mesquite bowl I finished today. 5" high, 10.24 wide. There was a large bug hole just to the left of center. I filled it with a piece of amber. The photo doesn't show it that well, but it is one solid piece of amber.
Working with amber was a first for me. It is a little lighter than I would like. What unique things have any of you used to fill defects -- other than the usual Inlace and colored epoxy.
Comments always welcome.
