Phenolic Resin Sheet

Doug Leite

>Aloha, everyone,

I use some 1/4" thick Phenolic Resin sheet that I bought from Trend Lines years ago to make inlay templates. Trend Lines is no-more, so I am asking here if anyone has another source for this material. I bought it in 12" squares, but any size would do.

"phenolic sheet paper impregnated"

This one is expensive !!! $21. sq ft

They do sell online.

Do you really need 1/4" thick ?

Hope this helps

Highland Hardware in Atlanta used to sell them. I'll try and dig through the catalog and see if they still do.

>Fred, When I did a google search, I came up with lots of manufacturers that would quote you or refer you to a distributor. Thanks for your link. I also posted this on the flat side and and was referred to MSC. They had a betterprice. Then my brain got in gear and off of the "Wood" only sources, and I went to MacMaster.com and they give it away @ $8.58. a sq. ft. No sense searching any farther, I will order from them.

Thanks for your input.
