I have one of Bernies pumps and it works fine. With a filter, valve, hose and a oneway lathe fitting I get about 23" of vacuum.

It works fine and is quite portable.

He gets paid and ships the next day, good fellow.

I have a Gast pump from Neb. Surplus and it works fine. You cannot re-wire it for 110 though. I used a pump from the air conditioning industry before I got the Gast and it worked almost too good. It was a pain though because the oil isnt cheap and it pickes up a lot of moisture and if you dont watch it it will suck oil out an make a mess.
