I need some simple display shelves for my turning blanks for an upcoming show. I only have one day to get them built; they won't really need finish. Anyone have a favorite plan? I'd like to be able to set them up and knock them down fairly quickly.

Thanks for any help on the shelving, as well as your contributions to the cause.

>I use closet louvered doors 12" or 15" wide from HD/Lowes (come already hinged). Cost about $35-70 depending on size. Buy some 6 or 8 foot boards knock out appropriate slats in doors. Position the doors at 90 degree angle, slide the boards throught & voila there are your shelves. If you crave solidity screw a stick across the back of the two doors

About 36 " wide 42" tall and fold to 36 x 42 x 3.

They run about $ 39.00 ea have 3 shelfs and work great. I use them at craft shows and put them on top of the plastic fold up tables. The units are strong and look nice. Hope this works for you.

>This is a pic of my booth at the Columbia show this spring. The shelves are the 3 shelf models doubled up. They cam natural, but I painted them black to show up the work better. I also installed under cabinet halogens to light the shelves.
