This can only lead to buying more tools

>I'm signing up for a "carving in the round" all day class at the end of October. I keep looking at work I'm doing on workpieces lately and envisioning all sorts of things I don't yet have the skills for. Notice, please, that I said "yet".

I'm starting to think, more and more, that the money spent on my Tormek was the best money I ever spent.

Oh god your in trouble now. Carving isn't like woodturning where you buy a $2000 lathe or a $300 grinder. They eat away at you $30 at a time. Every day you need a new carving tool or grinding burr and heck their only $29.95. See how that nickle fools you into buying another one. Then next thing you now your in the soup line with a pocket full of Swedish gouges hanging out of your vest.

I'm taking a jewelry making class. Not only do I need new tools but now I have to buy chunks of silver. See you in the soup line.
