>We have found several spalted maple and river birch. (600 to 900 bfd of lumber & 25 to 35 turning blanks) . We need to know how to store blanks and how to dry them successfully.

Also going prices for splated turning blanks and sizes they need to be cut into.

We have chestnut, pecan, walnut and black cheery crotches. we also need to know what percentage of moisture they need to be before turning them. We have read several different opinons.

Rough turn before 5:00pm on day they are cut.

>Most green wood is turned as wet as can be. Don't let it dry too much before turning. Seal the blanks to retain whatever moisture is still in them.
