>Can someone recommend a 2 shorter tool rest...got my 1442 today, and it is great, but going to need to get another shorter tool rest..is the post hole 1 inch?..options being either modular or woodcraft?..would a delta rest fit?..tks..the lathe is great...Dennis

>How about getting another stock tool rest and simply cutting it to the length you want? Might even be cheaper than getting an aftermarket tool rest.

Best/Woodcraft

>Can anyone recommend between these 2 systems, need to get a 4/6 in rest, haven't had much experience witht he round rest, seen the Woodcraft rest but not used it..any input on these are great..just looked at the Best product line and looks like there are more rests available for bowls and boxes..tks for any advice..Dennis
