Corian with Black Gabon Ebony Accents... the only finish on the ebony is carnuba wax and the whole thing finished with Renaissance Wax
Almost too slick to hold on to.. LOL.. it is a shame the high gloss did not show that well in the picture... it is like a mirror..

I like it. Your really having fun with these. If you want to show off the gloss you'll have to purposely add a reflection somewhere. Get something shiny like chrome, aluminum foil a small mirror etc and move it around until you can see a reflection of the shiny thing. Move it until it shows in the pen but isn't obnoxious. You can change the size and shape if needed. Usually were trying to get rid of reflections on wood but since everyone is starting to finish their pieces to a higher degree, especially pen turners, then you need to show some sort of reflection otherwise your good finish looks like my bad finish.

Though your photo backrounds look nice the pictures of your pens look more like an artist rendition rather than an actual photograph.
It doesn't show the detail in the pen very clearly.
I ahve tried cropping some of my pen pics and I have the same results as you ,poor overall picture quality.
It showed up the same way in teh corncob pen.
I asked if you would post the origianl picture.
