I think the best compliment is when someone builds a piece based on your demo. It makes you feel good. Especially if they give that item to someone they love. Congratulations. it will be fun to see what they've made.

>Ah...maybe someday. I agree that is a great compliment. I used to be a certified ski boat driver for the AWSA and it was a huge compliment to be asked to drive for a particularly demanding group of skiiers in a tournament. Quite nerve wracking, too, which I imagine you'll find as well.

Now, what, exactly, is a "suspended vessel"? Sounds sort of kinky.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I have experienced the same thing with - if you can believe it - pens! A number of years ago I was asked to do a pen turning demo for a group of turners who were more motivated and highly productive in many aspects of turning. I was shocked when I came back the next month to see how many of them had gone out and purchased the parts and supplies to make their own pen!

By the way, I was thinking of something else when you wrote suspended vessel, so thanks for posting it again. It is a beauty.
