>Nice job Phil. Nice flowing curves. Isn't cherry a dream to turn? I just finished a few minutes ago forming a largish (12") hollow form from fresh cut cherry. Smells so great!
How many coats of lacquer went on there? Looks great. Any seal coat beforehand? How high did you sand it, grit wise?

>Yes Mike, Thanks i just love Cherry, like you said the smell easy to work! I sanded from 60 grit not missing any along the way all the way up to 400 grit! And yes three of sand and seal than five satin lacquer all sprayed with that critter gun! sanding in between coats 320grit and steel wool

>That critter gun gave you those results? I may have to drop $40 on one. Think my utility pancake air compressor can handle it? The reqs looked pretty low.

>My spray gun of choice is a Minwax poly spray can. Don't knock it. It gives great results. And I have a choice of satin or gloss.
