I have my DC in the garage pulling out of the basement shop. While yes, I do lose some heat in the winter, and yes am very mindfull of reverse-drafting and CO concerns, that configuration will have to do. Seems like I'm stuck with the bags.

If taken as a whole, Bill definately says that you need to have a big cyclone, but if you look at the bottom of the page I sent you, he shows how to build your own cartridge for a regular old DC.
