>I agree, hang onto it, you will never get what it is worth, and for turning out smaller pieces, you will be glad you kept it. I have a large Delta but just set up my mini lathe in my smaller airconditioned workshop, where here Delta wouldn't fit. I have enjoyed turning smaller bud vases, ring cups and such, remembering that it doesn't have to be big to be great!

>Same here,I have the Jet mini and just bought a Powermatic 3520 and will never part with my mini.I use it for pens and smaller projects.You can also put a three wheel buffing system on it and buff your bowls goblets or whatever,turn spigots,drilling etc..

A two year old Jet mini in good condition with the usual parts (faceplate, live center and knock out bar) should fetch $150. The same goes for the Delta mini. The Nova would be more dificult to sell as it isn't as well known by those who might be interested. You might get $100 for the Nova mini. Other brands like Fisch, Carbatec, Record... $50 - $75.

I started out with a larger lathe and now have two large lathes. I just bought a Jet 1014 variable for the little stuff and to teach on.
