This thing rules. I have been using regular masks or respirators until this monster arrived.

I use it for all my dust making environments.

The cool breeze helps to make this quite bulky thing quite comfortable. The fact that I can pull the hearing protection away from my ears when not needed is an added plus.

I used it with my performas 12/32 plus without any dust collecting attachment to see how good it worked. It passed with flying colors.

Of course, I never owned another power mask to compare it to.

Perhaps not to be overlooked even though it doesn't have the same cache as the Triton, is the Resp-O-Rator. It costs around $60.00 and filters particles down to .03 microns. I don't think the Triton even gets that fine.

I've been using it for a year now and while a bit awkward at first it's certainly worth the money. I can sand blackwood all the way from 120 to 12000mm and never have any colour in my nose or throat.

Just a thought...an alternative, perhaps...
