turning with bungee cords

>At the risk of preaching to the choir, I thought I'd pass along a tip I originally got from Ted Bartholomew in Tacoma for the folks new to the addiction. When your Cole jaws aren't the right size to grip a bowl and when the tenon isn't the right shape to securely hold a large piece to finish hollowing out the center, wrap three or more bungee cords over the piece and face plate for added holding power and peace of mind.
It sounds goofy but really works.
